May 2026
May was a quick one: SF for work, a new laptop sticker, some excellent Seattle bike rides, and Honk Fest West.
May was a quick one: SF for work, a new laptop sticker, some excellent Seattle bike rides, and Honk Fest West.
March and April were busy: condo progress, cherry blossoms, a lot of travel, a lot of basketball, allergy misery, and Book of the New Sun.
February had a pleasingly symmetrical calendar, a rough condo move, SF work travel, toy data center parts, and one big reminder that moving is hard.
We bought a condo across the street, moved out of the apartment, and entered the long tail of actually settling in.
November was a lot in a good way: Kauai for our 15th anniversary, a rough return trip, and our first accepted condo offer.
October had board games, Mariners baseball, concert band rehearsals, shoulder frustration, house hunting, Arturo Sandoval, and a stack of sci-fi.
September breezed by with concert band, condo hunting, Diablo 3, Peacemaker, shoulder recovery, and a not-very-aggressive cut.
August was a little strange: ten days in Minneapolis, shoulder PT, marching band, Deception Pass, Stardew Valley, and Diablo 3.
July was a banger: fireworks, visiting friends, SOS Wrestling, Jazz Alley, Rainbow City Band, shoulder PT, and a big Rainier hike.
June was 15 years of marriage, Olympic Peninsula hiking, shoulder PT, better Seattle weather, and my first parades with Rainbow City Marching Band.
