We celebrated 15 years of marriage this June.

The weather got even nicer in Seattle.

June highlights:

  • Did I mention L and I celebrated 15 years of marriage? (!!!!) We took a long weekend near Olympic National Park and went on a few hikes.
  • L and I had a wonderful meal at The Ballard Cut.
  • I injured/inflamed my right shoulder, currently undergoing PT and recovering nicely. I took the recovery as an opportunity to take a harder look at my nutrition.
  • I marched in two parades for the first time since Murray State’s 2005 homecoming with the Rainbow City Marching Band: Wedgwood Ice Cream Social and Seattle Pride Parade. Both were wonderful, the ice cream social was unique: the band marched around the neighborhood with folks that had “follow me to free ice cream” and we ended up at the social event. The pride parade had incredible turnout and community support.
